Where Science and Technology Converge - 1165 Eastlake's New Site is Up & Running
Alexandria Real Estate is a major United States real estate investment trust that works on major projects throughout the Seattle area. Our team had the opportunity to work with them in developing and designing a website for one of their new properties coming to Seattle, 1165 Eastlake. The beautiful new property will be found in the Eastlake neighborhood with both residential space as well as a worldclass laboratory and office building.
The property is one of a kind in that it offers a 10,000 square foot lab and class A office building. The goal is to offer a place where science, work, and relaxation can mesh together in one space. With a rooftop patio, views of Lake Union, and the lab, it'll be hard to leave the property, yet the easy access to I-5, water access, and bus shuttle service make it easy.
What We Did: Website Design and Development Achievements
We built the architecture of this site to be simple and modern with a focus on creating less clutter by integrating more white space. The main focus of each page are the aesthetic pictures of the soon to be 1165 Eastlake Building and Office Spaces. With a unique value proposition over other buildings, we wanted to both show this off visually with icons, clean photos, and obviously content.
The user-friendly functionality of this website is shown through the quick downloadable PDF’s found on many of the sites pages, fillable contact forms at the bottom of every page and a clear main navigation menu. We also made it easy for users to reach the team, with the Contact button being a main Call-To-Action in the header, as well as a form at the bottom of the homepage.
This project involved designing and developing multiple pages outlining the marketable features of the property. These pages include a homepage, amenities page, surrounding neighborhoods page and more. Each page shows off a unique aspect of the property and we were able to use some beautiful mock-ups and imagery to display it. We've also included helpful downloadable PDF's of the properties, as well as linked the page throughout to make it easy to navigate.
