eCommerce Website Design for Compendium Inc

Compendium started as a dream of bringing tangible ways to add hope and unexpected delight to people’s daily lives. Gaining national recognition through winning awards and press coverage, Compendium has expanded its product range from thoughtful pop-up cards to stationery, inspirational journals, books, and more. They describe themselves as passionate, creative, and full of heart, which is clearly reflected in their offerings.

Project Objectives

For this eCommerce website redesign, our main goals included:

• Refresh and modernize their old design
• Design the website to feel very approachable and fun
• Improve user experience to further increase conversions

Website Design

For the design of this eCommerce website, our team worked alongside Compendium’s talented print-design team to create a modern look that was clean, approachable, inspiring, and fun.

Website Build

This eCommerce website was developed on BigCommerce and FusionCMS, a content management system. BigCommerce was utilized for all products, categories, and the checkout experience. FusionCMS was used to highlight all non-product content. FusionCMS allows them to have maximum flexibility for customizing new pages around the content they want to showcase. Yotpo was also integrated to manage their customer reviews.
